Felicity Faichney's Bio

Felicity Faichney trained in theatrical costume design and studied under some of the most acclaimed milliners in the UK, including Rose Corey, milliner to the late Queen Mother. Her stunning bespoke hats have been exhibited at high-profile galleries in the UK and abroad, from the National Gallery of Scotland to the Saint Petersburg Conservatoire. She is delighted to take on private commissions.


CHARITY WORK

Felicity was the founder and Creative Director of HATWALK, a hugely successful theatrical event which highlighted European millinery talent and raised over £13,000 to support children’s / educational charities. HATWALK also funded educational workshops and a summer school featuring masterclasses by world-renowned milliners.



COMMISSIONS

Felicity is passionate about creating the perfect hat for each of her clients – whether they want something spectacular, theatrical, demure or timeless. Felicity believes each hat is as unique as its wearer and works closely with each client to make sure their individual needs are met in her design.

In addition to her private commissions, Felicity’s work includes:

Creative Millinery Workshops at her Edinburgh studio. Design for theatre productions and fashion houses. Lecturing and tuition in schools and universities.
